We are pleased to announce a number of exciting enhancements to SesameVault.

In addition to adding a number of new encodings - from HD down to
mobile 3GP - the SesameVault encoding system is now totally automated.
Being totally automated means you will no longer need to manage your
    encoding settings at all.

After uploading a video or audio file, SesameVault will automatically
convert it to all appropriate formats based on its resolution.
SesameVault will encode large uploads into every format to give you
the most distribution options. However, tiny uploads will not be
encoded into the larger encodings that would consume unnecessary
    amounts of bandwidth.

Applications using the SesameVault API that rely on specific encodings
may need to be adjusted. For more information, please review the
documentation we have prepared for this new system:

Please don't hesitate to get a hold of us if you have any questions or
    need assistance updating your application.

I was thinking of uploading files in DVCPro - will that work?

    jondoe -
We support DVCPro 25 and 50. So yes, they will work, however files at this quality are usually rather large. Unfortunately, browsers have upload limits of 2GB. You might need to either split up your video so that each chunk is under 2GB or compress your video. You can get the size down significantly without visible affecting quality. When will I be able to rename files that I or other users upload?

Hey Alex - You can rename any file you or any other user uploads. When you're logged into your account select the video that you want to change the title for, then simply click it's title (above the player) to edit. Change it however you like, hit the save button, and voila!

I'm afraid renaming a file from a different user is not working yet: we're experiencing troubles while trying to rename or edit properties of a file upladed by a different user, even when logged in with the owner user login.

This is not working with Firefox and Safari from mac os and IE7 from windows.
